Life after spm is a bliss. I've enjoy the most of the holidays either at home or travelling and i'm starting work in January as a clerk in my dad's firm. I remember months ago, I was asking my friend :"Mei Xin, I hate school. Do you?" She said: "No, I don't. School career is the most enjoyable phase in life. Enjoy the last few months, dude."
True that.
I heard this word is a kind of scary world. It's not a bed of roses. Working environment is worlds apart from school environment. There are no real friends in work environment, I realised. Plus, the grown ups has a lot more responsibilities than the small ones. We have to endure work pressure, meet different people and of course, new skills to be acquired.
Graduation night marks the milestone of graduating high school, thus leaving school to begin the next phase of life. A mixed feeling is felt that night, that I'm finally grown up and at the same time, not ready for the world. Like a bird which has wings but has not have the guts to fly out to the clear blue sky to feel the soft wind and sunlight on its feathers.
Whether it is in our favour or not, we will eventually grow up. Bye, school; Hello, college.
