The Unbreakable

He woke up in a daze, trying to recall what he had dreamt about.

In his dreams, he did not had the particular and familiar feeling of hunger anymore.  He was free and living a life that he once had.  All he had previously was a life that was simple and   filled with happiness.  Those were the things that he yearned for now because now that his life is being changed forever. For eternity, possibly.

All his memories from his previous life were lost and has been retrieved recently.  True enough, this man leads two lives.  His youthfulness had had many ladies head over heels for  many years that went by.  Once, he had dated a lady and also her granddaughter.  People always see him as a quiet and mysterious person and that is also one of the factors why he is a hit among the ladies.  The truth is, he is a very lonely guy.

He had been in this world long enough to see each and everyone of the people here being borned and then eventually die off.  People are curious about how a regular guy like him lives such a long life.  In this gentleman's case, he ain't deserve the word 'regular'.

He is of a different species. He isn't a pure human anymore and nobody knows it, can't risking anyone knowing it.  It's too dangerous. For what he really is, it will scare people off and he will not live in peace.

A vampire, he is indeed.

He had just found out that his wife, from his previous life is still alive and he needed to see her.  He is indeed a faithful man and he hadn't truly loved anyone all these years.
